Saint Barnabas Medical Center Medical Experts Lead H1N1 Flu Community Forum

West Orange, N.J.- H1N1 influenza has now been confirmed in all 50 states. As the leaders in prevention and preparedness, the Saint Barnabas Health Care System remains committed to the safety and welfare of our communities. To help protect you and your loved ones, we will hold H1N1 Influenza Community Forums at our six acute care medical centers throughout the state. The Forums will be led by Fred M. Jacobs, M.D., J.D., Saint Barnabas System Executive Vice President and former New Jersey Commissioner of Health, along with State Department of Health and Senior Services experts and our infectious disease specialists. At Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Christopher Freer, D.O., Chairman of the Emergency Department, Dr. Falguni Shah, Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician and Gigi Diamond, M.D., Adult Infectious Disease Specialist have all agreed to participate on a panel to discuss the H1N1 flu.
