Monthly magazine recently named 153 Saint Barnabas Medical Center
physicians among the best in the state in its annual "Top
Doctors in New Jersey" issue. The Saint Barnabas Medical
Center doctors, who provide a wide range of specialties, were selected
from more than 20,000 doctors in New Jersey.

latest list of recognized physicians truly shows that the depth of medical expertise

For this year’s list of 609 Top Doctors, New Jersey Monthly commissioned
an independent survey of the state’s physicians by the Polling Institute
at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. A total of 20,254 New Jersey-based
doctors were invited to give their recommendations for this year’s list.
The final list represents Top Doctors in 60 medical categories,
including many pediatric and surgical subspecialties. Most categories
have a standard threshold based on the overall number of doctors.
The threshold is lowered for certain pediatric and surgical specialties,
where the number of practitioners is smaller.
