All our Barnabas Health facilities are joining the National Weather Service in stressing preparedness regarding this weekend’s impact from Hurricane Irene.
Hurricane hazards come in many forms — including storm surges, high winds and flooding — and we want to reassure our patients and their family members that our facilities are prepared to deal with all potential hazards.
We maintain an organized approach to emergency preparedness that ensures the safety of patients and visitors, as well as hospital staff. Our priority during any emergency is to maintain an environment for safe patient care at our facilities.
Our hospitals will provide updated information to patients and families regarding the storm as it becomes available.
