Clara Maass Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center were recently named among the 2012-2013 Best Hospitals metro area and New Jersey rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.

In addition, Barnabas Health hospitals were also listed as high performing in the New York Metropolitan area for Cancer, Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Nephrology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Oncology, and Urology.
Nearly 5,000 hospitals were initially considered by U.S. News & World Report in these rankings, which evaluate specialty as well as volume.
