Prior Fellow Testimonials
I did my nephrology fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center /Saint
Barnabas Medical Center from 2008-2010. I am presently in a group practice
in Florham Park, New Jersey. I can't say enough about my training.
Thanks to the excellent mentoring offered at Newark Beth Israel and Saint
Barnabas, I am able to practice cutting-edge nephrology on a daily basis.
These two hospitals gave the exposure to nephrology in its entirety.
I would be more than happy to recommend this program to anyone who wants
to pursue a career in nephrology.

Class of 2010
I am a graduate of the class of 2014. After my nephrology fellowship training
at Newark Beth Israel, I moved to Georgia and joined a nephrology practice
there. The fellowship training prepared me to tackle a variety of cases
in the hospital, office, and dialysis center from AKI, ATN, electrolyte
management, CRRT, glomerular disease, renal pathology, transplant, and
many other renal conditions.
The fellowship program makes you a well-rounded nephrologist and encourages
the fellows to explore nephrology innovations by attending conferences
and participating in research. It is a family friendly program and the
program director is always willing to listen to input from fellows.
The faculty member's interactive style of teaching makes you well prepared
for a nephrology career. I am impressed with the evidence based teaching,
diversity of patient population, and hands-on experience during the renal
transplant rotation which makes this program unique. I strongly encourage
you to consider Newark Beth Israel Nephrology fellowship to help build
your nephrology career.
